We are a younger couple so we do not have piles of money to spend, but we do not want to pass up on anything that might be an opportunity of a lifetime. We are also pretty adventurous/outdoorsy so anything like hiking, surfing, snorkeling, ect. we will consider doing. I need information on spots to go to. Like best surfing on Ohau, best hiking on big island, deep sea fishing off big island, anything like that. Even suggestions on nightclubs, hotels, shopping, or other things that i might have thought about.

I'm moving to California in June of 2007 and I was wondering what is the best city, safest city, and cleanest city. I was going to move to Los Angeles until I heard how bad, and dirty it was. I have decided to move to San Diego now, and I was wondering am I making a great choice? Is there anything I should know about San Diego? I found a great place in Downtown San Diego, and was also wondering is the Downtown in San Diego, safe, clean, and beautiful. Or is it like Los Angeles Downtown? Can you easily find work? How far it is from Los Angeles, because I'm in the Entertainment Business also and would need to make frequent trips there for Entertainment and Music purposes. Please let me know, thanks!

I want to move near Atlanta not in Fulton County because of taxes , crime and a looooot of ppl. But i may want to work there so I was wondering where I should move to. It would be my boyfriend and I. If he doesn't want to go I'm still going. I'm a dental asst in FL ( I live 40mins North of Tampa) and I'm starting my BA online in Jan. I'm going to GA this weekend but I don't know where to start to look. Any ideas? Safe location and access to Atlanta. My Uncle lives in Atlanta and my sister is moving to GA in June. I plan to move there sometime in May/June

My boyfriend and I are going and we can't wait! I just turned 24 and he's 26.

Ive seen blue man group at the Luxor with my mom and brother and really loved it. Ive also seen 2 Cirque du Soleils (La Nouba and something else that had a musically focused theme). Itd be great to get a discount on some show tix if anyone knows of anything or has any ideas about what to see! Ive heard 'O' is great, but it wont be showing while we're there!

Please let me know if you have any suggestions at all! Thanks!

after he gets out of the military, we will have the 'big choice': Where should we move to? Since my family lives overseas, and his family is spread out all over the US, we really aren't attached to any state or city.
Any suggestions?

important to us is:
- moderate climate (no humidity)
- some snow so he can ride his snow mobile
(- good job opportunities in the field of bio science/research)
- low crime rate and good schools for the kids (coming later)
- big city nearby

Hello, me again. I live in CT and like to visit the city. I don't want to deal with metro north as sometimes I stay too long and it closes. I'd like to know what express subway stop I can go to off the Deegan or I-95. I'd like it to have a secure parking lot for my car. Then I'd like to take the subway in to the city. Thanks!

I live in CT and I just took a part time job driving limo's and town cars. I don't take them in to the city too often, but when I can, I want to be able to park the limo and do a bit of site seeing myself. I found out the hard way that a lot of parking garages don't let limo's park there! Do any of you know of a parking area that will take limos? Where in the city do you think my best chances would be to get a spot to park?

I'm planning on moving to Oregon in a few months and after reading things like this http://portland.indymedia.org/en/2004/08/295320.shtml I'm somewhat concerned about racism (hostile stares/ racial slurs etc.) being an issue for me and my interracial family once we move there.

I am aware of the fact that prejudice and ignorance exists EVERYWHERE. I’d like to know more (from Portlanders if possible) before I move there.

Let me paint a picture about us in case it helps...

We’re a family of five. We’re vegan, liberal, “hippiesh“, my husband is white/Hispanic, I'm biracial (german, black, hispanic) my 9 year old girl is white/hispanic, my 5 year old boy is dark skinned with straight black hair ( Taino) and my mom who's coming along with us is hispanic/black.

Also, it would be of great use to us if someone could please let me know about the general attitude towards minorities in other areas/burbs such as Beaverton, Gresham, or Vancouver Wa. etc.
