Would it be Denver? If so, how many hours away is Denver from Aspen/Leadville?

There is an airport right there in Aspen, but Denver would be the closest international airport. Service in/out of Apsen is iffy, at best.

If you drive, it's just under 4 hours to do so. That may seem far, but when the airlines cancel flights, the next one may not be for 4-5 hours more anyway.

If you're price-sensitive, drive to Denver. Because there is more service, the fares are generally a lot lower than they are from Aspen.

The Aspen Airport (code ASE), served by United Express and America West (now Us Airways) Express.
