I lived in Jacksonville for a few years and it was much better than some of the other Florida cities I visited while there. Though the weather is pretty much always mild, you're far enough north to still have a true change of seasons. You're close to the beach, there's lots of great shopping and dining and the job market is good.

To the person who said Bradenton...only if you want to get shot.

Probably anywhere on the Atlantic side...well almost everywhere. Longboat Key, Siesta Key, I was born in Sarasota and lived on Lido Key. Clearwater beach is also gorgeous.

orange county seems to have nice houses, that are actualy good sizes.
