OSSINEKE, Michigan....anybody been there? What's it like? How about ALPENA?

I've never heard of Ossineke. I've been to Alpena. It's a medium size city, but it is pretty remote from other cities. It's along beautiful Lake Huron, and if you are outdoorsy, you would love northern Lower Michigan.

If you're going that far, why not go on up to the Upper Penninsula? I think its prettier. Also, as the previous poster said, its the place to go if you like the outdoors.
