I do not have a car, so getting to poughkeepsie and take the train from there is not an option. However, if anyone can tell me the cheapest way to get to poughkeepsie, it would be welcoming also.

I'm planning a trip to NYC this christmas, but have some question about the best way to get there. I'll be coming from Indiana and have no problem driving but I've heard the horror stories of parking, traffic, ect. I'll be staying around Times Square and have no problem walking to the near by attractions, so I really dont plan on using my car once I'm there.

Would I be better off just flying in (what airport?)
Driving and parking in the city?
Driving and parking outside the city and take the train into town for the week? (seems like a hastle seeing I'll have bags w/ me)

any help/links would be appreciated

The Vegas show book I have states that some shows are "dark' Tues, Wed, Thurs etc. Does that mean the show is not on those days? Thanks to anyone who can explain to a Vegas newbie.

Under the movies under any Reno NV zip code Fleischmann Planetarium shows up as an IMAX theater, which it is not. Also it has the wrong information on shows. That and the Planetarium no longer wishes to be listed.
