I say no due to when you get here in Orlando in July its HOT HOT HOT and alot of the hotels have coupon books on the street for people like you driving through getting a hotel. You will also see alot of lighted signed on the side of the hotels with great deals and alor cheaper then booking online or calling the 1-800 number

Yes. I would recommend it. Central Florida is busy during the 4th because of the Daytona Race. But July itself is usually busy, because school is out, and everyone vacations during that time.

Since Orlando is always busy, I would recommend having reservations. Make the reservation just to be sure! Then, if a better deal comes along before you go, you can always cancel (if there's no charge!)
