If so, did you just move? Do you like it there? We are considering moving there. Just want to know how you feel about the state. And for more general ideas, could you tell me about the city as well.

Hi there! I moved here this past February from Dallas, Texas and LOVE it! I actually live in a small town north of Atlanta (about 10 minutes away) called Smyrna in an area known as The Vinings. Very popular with the younger crowd, lots of shops, and is pretty historic. I work in downtown Atlanta, and my commute is usually only about 20 minutes. Not too bad for Atlanta traffic. =) The weather here compared to Dallas is a ton better...like right now, our high today is supposed to be 82 and very low humidity...beautiful outside. Lots to see and do here though I haven't gotten out much because of work, but the world's largest aquarium is here http://www.georgiaaquarium.com also we have lots of Civil War sites around the area...one big one up in Kennesaw. I also love the area where I live because of all the pine trees. Even though i'm allergic to pine, I still love how pretty they are, and all the mountains not too far off from my apartment. I drive across the Chattahoochie river every day on my way to work which is cool....you always see people fishing in it. Georgia Sucks!! The weather is horrible and the humidity is very oppressive. I lived there for about 3 years and I'd never go back!
Atlanta is not a very friendly place. Also, it is not a walking city, it's hard to navigate and there is lots of traffic, that will not let you in.
I think the only good things about Atlanta is the aquarium and the shopping, if you can navigate around the extremely rude people in the malls.

i live south of Atlanta (about 35 miles) and I love it!!! Only thing is that I've never lived anywhere else.

i live in th ATL. if you are a fan of rap you will like it. if you are a fan of vick, you will like it. and if you like guys honking there horn at you, or giving you strange looks when you walk pass them.....you will love it here!
