I will be at the Gay Games from 7/15-7/21 and have some time to take some Argentine Tango classes or go to Milongas. I am an intermediate female leader and will bring my own partner. Where would you suggest I go? I will be staying at the Hilton on Michigan Ave.

I may be moving to Colorado when I graduate, and Denver looks like my best bet for work and a relatively inexpensive apartment. However, one of my reasons for wanting to live in Colorado in the first place is because I'd love a view of the mountains - I've had a love for it since I went to Boulder for a visit a few years back. I can't afford to live in Boulder, though, so I'm hoping Denver has a decent view as well...anyone know?

1844th Transportation Company form Illinois, along with other Army soldiers, are going that way on Friday June 16th and looking for a good time during daylight hours. If anyone has any ideas or would like to show us around we would appreciate it. We will be leaving in the morning from Fort Hunter-Liggett (FHL) and will return around dusk. The crazier the idea the more likely it is to happen, however, any ideas would be nice. We consist of young athletic men and older cruisaders ranging in age between 18-39. Some young blood has never seen the Pacific Ocean and they are ready for the beach and beer.

I'm looking for a fabric district in the NYC area that is much like the LOS ANGELES garment district (i.e. a large area with separate streets dedicated to the sale of a single item- fabric, flowers, men's shoes, notions, women's clothing, etc.) The prices should be significantly less (wholesale) than what you'd pay at a commercial fabric store such as Joann's. Please, no links to NYC visitor shopping guides, I'm not looking to buy some shoes at Macy's. I would like a person who has experience with both areas to answer.this question with some detail. I am looking for info primarily about FABRIC and NOTIONS. Thanks!
