The weather is unpredictable. I wore shorts, rain gear and winter clothing all in the same day. In extreme temperatures like excursions to the glacers, they provide extra clothing like boots and down vests. Otherwise you will need to bring a warm sweater, a wind breaker with hood, some sweats or warm pants and a good pair of walking shoes or boots. Anything you do on the water will be cooler in the early morning and evening. It really depends on what excursions you do and the weather. If you're just going to walk through the village, you won't need that much clothing. Pretend it's going to be like fall on the East Coast, which could include rain, warm days and cool nights. Although dress codes have begun to be more laxed, I would bring some "going out to a fancy restaurant duds." It is a wonderful, adventurous cruise to take, have fun.

I live in Fairbanks AK. For the cruise you will need rain gear, a sweater, etc. When you are south of Denali, you can expect rain and cool temperatures.

When you are north of Denali, IE in the Interior going to the Yukon, the weather is much drier and warmer. So you will not need rain gear or sweaters, but bring them any way cause it can change.

Do bring bug spray for the trip to the Yukon, DET or OFF.

Camera Yes!!

Pack some toilet paper, no rest areas here, other than the trees.

Bring a back pack if you are going on excursions to the glaciers or other exotic places

you will be exposed to numerous different temperatures so you need to bring shorts, pants, rain jackets, a fleecy jacket for warmth (you should not need a full out parka, it should not be really, really cold) - I know lots of packing but it should be a great trip

remember to bring bug spray and sun screen too
