Forget staying there; its too far from the action. First, when you look for a hotel in Vegas consider this. All of the big hotels on the Strip are great. The two most important things are location and price. Stay on the strip in the center of all of the hotel locations so that you can walk to see all of the hotels and casinos, and all of the free attractions. The best place to stay to do that is in one of the hotels on or nearest to Flamingo Rd & the Strip. At that corner is Ceasers, Bellagios, the Flamingo, Ballys, and The Paris hotels. You can probably get the Flamingo or Ballys for a few dollars more and be in a place where you can easily walk to see everything.

There's nothing like being able to easily go back to your room for a rest break without having to take a taxi, bus or rail.

If you're asking if it's a nice hotel, the answer is; not really. I stayed there last year and it's old and the buffet is below-average. BUT, it's also inexpensive and it's got a monorail station, so you can take that all the way down the strip. The room itself was ok; not fancy, but not grubby. If you want to keep your costs down, this is a decent choice.
