WHY ? it's only 13hrs- at this time of year the whole trip can be done in daylight. However if you insist Youngstown Ohio. it's half way and more importantly I-80 starts getting really hilly after that- toss in some bad weather and lots of truck traffic and maybe it's best to be well l rested.

You'll be on I-80 nearly the whole way. Columus and Pittsburg are both further south than you need to go. I'd stop somewhere outside Cleveland. There are plenty of hotels near the interstate in that area and you'll be about halfway.

Batavia, New York. That may sound too far but you will find Batavia is a small city, nice people and not as high priced as Cleveland, Ohio or Buffalo, NY.

Pittsburg, Pa. Visit the Any Warhol Musuem, and then get some excellent barbeque. I forgot the name of the place, but it was great.
