how to get to ocracoke beach, is there airport near...or driving is the only way.?

There is a small landing strip on Ocracoke Island, for very small private planes. Unless you've got your own plane, you'll have to drive and take the ferry across (with your car) from Cape Hatteras or the NC mainland.

they have an airport but if you want to drive I recommend it if you take the route on the Outer Banks. I drove down the Outer Banks and it was so beautiful.
