kinda envisioning finding a mountain somewhere sorta remote, and setting up a shop & lab to basically make anything i'd need.
(something defensive, and strategically uninteresting -yet have enough resources around to be pleasant)
kinda thinking ireland, iceland... & some place warmer if possible?? just looking for ideas :)

I am planning a trip to Disneyworld for my one year wedding anniversary and I want to stay at a Disney Resort thats nice but not too expensive. We don't have kids so it would just be us. Any suggestions?

I have a friend in Cairns who gave me their number but never gave me the number before the state code. I already have the +61 part but after that it has the missing number followed by 4 and then the rest of the number. Any ideas?

I've been trying to get a renewed id, license, birth certificate before I travel on Amtrak and there's no way I'll be able to get any of the valid forms of id on time. I hear they check licenses on board randomly, do you think they will notice the expired date? If they do will they kick me off in the middle of nowhere?

As a treat, I'm planning to take my 6 year old niece and 4 year old nephew to Disneyland Paris for a few days in April 2008. we will be traveling on Eurostar and staying at the Disney resort. do i need to get their mother to write a letter saying that she gives her permission for me to take them out of the country? if so, does she just write on a piece of paper?

A co-worker is moving to Seattle soon. For her going away party, our boss thought that giving her umbrellas (b/c of all the rain there) would be funny, yet useful. I'll be in Amsterdam for five days in late September. I'd like to travel to another city via either a direct flight or train. Any suggestions? Given I'm from the US, a non-Euro currency country would be preferable (I'd love to do London or Paris again, but they're too expensive). I've seen a great deal of Europe (toured Italy, Spain, Germany and parts of Eastern Europe extensively), so a slightly more obscure location would be great. Thanks.

I am a die-hard Celtics fan from Vancouver. I want to go to Boston for around 4 days early next year to catch a Celtics game, but would also like to see either the Bruins / Patriots / Red Sox....ideally all of them but I realize seasons don't overlap enough..

The problem I am having is finding the 'ideal' weekend to go...I can go from Thursday to Sunday or Friday to Monday...

Any advice would be appreciated...
