Cell phone, tune up, favorite tunes and enjoy the solitude of the drive!!

Just because you're a girl doesn't mean you can't drive alone if you want.

I have driven many times alone for non-stop 14 hour trips quite a few times. It's a joy to have that time to yourself. You'll do a lot of thinking over the miles.

Just be careful where you stop and try to make your trip during daylight hours. Going from Tallahassee to B'ham isn't that bad of a stretch. Just take I 10 to I 65 if you want interstate travel. I prefer backroads myself and would often do the three and a half hour drive between Anniston, AL and Albany, GA before I moved here, sometimes two or three times a week!! You could take 41 to I believe 82 (or 520...can't remember...look at the map) to Opelika and take the backroads from there too. The backroads through that area are relatively safe and the towns are pretty close together. Closer than on the interstate.

Go safe!! Have fun!!

Ought to be a fun road trip. 5 hours is just about right for one day. Start out early and head out. Go to AAA website (www.aaa.com) and plot out your trip. Drive for about 2.5 hours and then stop at a restaurant and get a bite to eat and walk around a bit then drive the rest of the way (the AAA website will show you the restaurants along your route).

I'm a girl and I always drive by myself from Las Vegas to Los Angeles. Just make sure that your car is in good driving condition, your tires are good, you have a cell phone, you always always have a full tank of gas, watch your speed limit, takes some snacks, play good music and you are good to go. Oh, when you start getting tired...stop and get a drink like a Monster or something.

i personally love long road trips by myself...
for some reason i feel like i, in a way, find myself during the drive....
if you have the perfect music for the trip and the proper mindset...it is a great experience

bring some good music, snacks, and beverages. dont let your gas tank get lower than a quarter tank. you might get fidgety, so take breaks. if you get tired , i read that it helps to drink caffeinated drinks THEN take a 15 minute nap. it takes like 20 minutes for caffeine to work. ive driven partway between san diego and havasu, between havasu and vegas, and between san diego and vegas, and just make sure you are well rested and can stay awake

Whats the difference whether you are male or female.?
I don't know to many guys who would think five hours is overly long,
Your a liberated woman aren't you.
