kinda envisioning finding a mountain somewhere sorta remote, and setting up a shop & lab to basically make anything i'd need.
(something defensive, and strategically uninteresting -yet have enough resources around to be pleasant)
kinda thinking ireland, iceland... & some place warmer if possible?? just looking for ideas :)

lab.. just thinking something to make basic supplies/meds/biofuel/batteries/whatnot; from cement, to asprin, to.. whatever is needed i guess - i'm nowhere close to ready, but i think having a dream defined would make it easier to accomplish it : P

Best place in the world, British Columbia Canada for what you are looking for.
What kind of lab you going to set up?
We got it all here man, moderate temperature, mountains galore, can live off the land if you have to and can still zip into town for beer.
