Travel - 14 November 2007

How much would it cost ($US) if i came to the USA from AUS if i was there for 6 weeks?So all up including accommodation, Domestic flights (eg LA to Vegas etc.) and food and a little bit of spending money.

BUT do not Include my international flight from aus to usa.(because i have already saved up for that)
so i jus want to know how much i would need to save up for my time in the USA which will be about 6 weeks.
I plan on going to California for about a weekish, then off to Vegas, then prob NY, and mayb 1 or 2 more places in between and maybe canada toronoto.
how much do you think i would need to save. i have a bout 5 months to save.

There are quite a huge number of flies around Australia in summer, even in big cities like Sydney. Has the Australia government tried to solve this problem? It's very annoying when you walk along streets with your hand waving at flies all the way. And what on earth is the reason to make cities overflow with flies?

I'm a half Japanese, 21 year old female. I currently own a work permit and am working as an English tutor. I'm studying in Tokyo until August 2008. I'm also interested in modeling in Japan. A friend of mine has just come home from New York and went to the Woodberry mall He told me that when they were getting on the bus the driver was like were is ur bags and they were like what and he was like everyone brings suitcases with them to carry around there shopping so they went back to there hotel and grabbed there bags. My Friend was saying that when u get there everyone is carrying around bags!

My question is: is he tellin the truth or liein to me??

Hello,

I found a internship opportunity in Hong Kong for a year.
My salary will be 7000HKD, and the firm found me a room to rent for around 2100 HKD (I don't know if people in HongKong pay taxes for water, electricty, apartmant fees or is it included??)
So apart from that, do you think that I could manage to live there with that amount of money? or is it too low?
As far as I heard, 3000 HKD would be enough for one months food costs,
so except my rent and food, I will have 1900 HKD for living, for taxes (if there are any) and for social stuff..

what do you think??

I will be moving to Santa Fe fairly quickly and need to know how it is as far as housing and the decent parts of town. Also what is the price range for renting apartments, vs mobile homes vs duplexes.
IIs it a hard town to learn to get around in and is is fairly well marked?

We are planning to go to Diveagar from Pune by car. Most of the people have recommeded via the Tamhini ghat, but we would prefer express highway. We had gone via Tamhini ghat to Roha earlier, but found the road extremely winding with continuous curves. Can someone explain the route via express highway? Also, how much more time will we take if we travel via express highway than tamhini ghat?
