SAA, Cape Town to JHB to Perth Australia.

Our baggage weighed 10kg more in Jhb than in Cape Town.
We had to pay a fine but we had already changed most of our currency. We had to find a place that would change currency.
We paid the fine (waiting in Queues everytime) and were offered no assistance after paying our fine to get us on the flight. (What's the use of paying a fine but not making the flight.)
At the counter we were told, by a very unconcerned African lady, that the flight was already closed .
After threatening death we made the flight to find all our luggage missing on arrival in Perth.

OH MY !It was with a dakota (kotswa ) from Outjo to Rundu in Namibia ! Turbulance ,heat and a short fat man running up and down inspecting the cables that leads into the wings with a little torch every now and then .We got the idea something was wrong and when we experianced terrible turbulance we thaught we are going to die ! Later we met that same silly short fat man in the canteen at Grootfontein airforcebase ,behind the bar , laughing his @ss off !
He is a barman who likes to pull the same prank on everybody ! The free drinks was nice but it will never make up for the suffering we went thru !

One of my shortest flights, from Bremen to Amsterdam on a Fokker, about 20 seater. The turbulence was so bad, and the engines so loud. We all thought that we were going to drop out of the sky. When we landed in Amsterdam, all the passengers clapped and s´cheered.

Airline flight..on my way back to UK from SA, scared to face life as a single mum. My baby fell asleep in my arms, and I could not move for 8 hours..I was dying to stretch my legs and visit the restroom...lol

Worst flight ever - in a little cherokee with my ex. He is a pilot, and did some stuff that scared the hell out of me, as I knew he was not experienced enough to do it (Having been involved in the training side, I knew). But we landed safe and sound, so no complaints. :-)

Last year in February we came back from Durban just when we had that amazing lot of rain and we had to circle for 20minutes above Heidelberg before we got clearance to land at Johannesburg Airport - boy that was scary just flying around in circles with rain all around and not knowing when or if you are going to land - lol i felt like kissing Mother Earth when we finally landed and got of that plane

i never had a bad flight, well my daughter caused for a passenger on a big green airplane to have a horrible flight.

it was the gentleman sitting next to us first flight, he was terrified, my daughter was 20 months at that stage and rather talkative, as we approached Durban we went thru a cloud and it looked like smoke so my big mouthed daughter blurted out in pure enjoyment: o no the plain is on fire!!

i wish you guys could have seen this poor gentlemen's face!
