Do you think I'll be kicked off Amtrak when they check my expired license?

I've been trying to get a renewed id, license, birth certificate before I travel on Amtrak and there's no way I'll be able to get any of the valid forms of id on time. I hear they check licenses on board randomly, do you think they will notice the expired date? If they do will they kick me off in the middle of nowhere?

Just act surprised that it expired. They arent going to kick you off but they just want to make sure that the passengers are who they say they are.
