Iam going next week and do not know what to pack for the evenings. It is so cold here in the U.K., will I be wanting very warm clothes?

It has been pretty chilly - I was there a week ago and it was cold enough to need long pants and long sleeves at night. But its probably a lot warmer than the UK. Daytime you can usually wear pants and a t-shirt. The weather also changes frequently. I live near Las Vegas and was wearing a jacket outside a few days ago and shorts and a t shirt today. So I would pack a variety of clothes including a light jacket and warm sweater - but I wouldn't worry about a very warm jacket.
