Well with all the diversity and so many different countries so close to each other with really diverse languages, is life more cultured and interesting in Europe? With the movie Sicko and all the Bush stuff and well I dunno, things aren't as free as they are advertised here. It's so conservative and the same here, as opposed to Europe where it's more diverse and liberal. What do you all think, which one's better, why, explain

I'm thinking about having a birthday party at a hotel (and it would be an overnight) I don't really want to call and ask right now because I'm not sure of which hotel yet, but I was wondering if there is a limit to how many people can sleep in a room. Because I want like 7-8 people in one room and then my parents in another, but idk if we can do that. Please HELP!!

I have always lived here but my family and I we have visited other European countries like England and France. How am I going to finish school there when I can't even speak any German. I have tried to get my parents to stay but they won't. My dad's job is making him relocate. They say I just will have to get used to it and I will eventually like it there. The worst part is that my little brother actually wants to go. How am I going to adapt to Germany? Any advice would help. Thanks :)

Hi all, well i am planning to take admission in a college at Vancouver for higher studies. Since this is my first time i am a bit tensed and at the same time excited too. I have so many question for which i need someone who can answer me.
1.) How much will it cost for me to rent a shared flat/other housing unit, in Yaletown/ anywhere in West Hastings Street.
2.) Where can i get my food from? I cant goto restaurants daily? Are there some services that provides food for students and also dilivers it to students door and charges weekly/monthly/whatever? Or i will have to cook my food on my own?
3.) What are the taxi charges per mile within city.
4.) If i buy a bicycle. Can i bike it all over the city or to just some restricted areas? Will i require a special permit/licence, for it?
5.) How safe is the city. Coz my classes are of 18 hrs a day and i will be returning late hrs and then back early hrs to the classes.
6.) Which one amongst theTaxi/Buses/Tubes/Bicycles/Walk, is the best

We are both from the midwest and neither of us have ever lived in a city bigger than Kansas City. (We lived in the outskirts.) We are both educated professionals with no kids. We have to live somewhere clean and safe, where is that? We make about 115k/year between us, and that is in a smaller college town, so we will probably make slightly more in Vegas. We are both programmers, so does that limit us to working in a certain part of town? Any help or links you can provide would be awesome!!

Since we Jews control the media, the US, the UK, the EU, China (I have just learned), and probably India, Russia, and Brazil for good measure (oh and btw the Saudi Royal family I hear is really a bunch of Jews secretly anyway) what is left for us to take over. Any suggestion?

Which countries have daylight saving, or don't? Whichever way is easier to list.

Daylight saving confuses me.

When you put your clock back or forward that would make the time difference different from countries that don't? Or it could make your time different from places you should be on equal time with?

For example... I live in Waikiki and I can tell you that "Waikiki" and "Waikiki Beach" is the exact same place. People just call it two different things sometimes. Not everything in Waikiki is right on the beach of course but it's all the same zipcode and the same general area. It's not like they are two different cities.

If you want to get more technical... Waikiki is part of the city of Honolulu... but... Honolulu & Waikiki are not interchangeable. Waikiki is a very defined area like like Manhattan is to New York City.

Is Miami & Miami Beach two completely different cities or two very different areas of one larger city? Or... Is it all the same thing?

Thanks,

Family of boy killed by IDF donates his organs for peace
By Amos Harel and Arnon Regular, Ha'aretz, November 6, 2005

The family of Ahmed al-Khatib, a 12 year old fatally shot last week by Israeli troops who mistook his toy gun for a real rifle, have donated his organs at a Haifa hospital "for the sake of peace between peoples."

His organs helped save the lives of six patients. His heart was given to a 12-year-old girl; his liver was divided in two and given to two patients, a six-month old baby and a 56-year-old woman; his kidneys were given to a 5-year-old boy and his lungs were given to a 5-year-old boy and a 4-year-old girl, Israel Radio reported.

The boy died of his wounds on Saturday.

Dr. Tzvi Ben-Yishai, a spokesman for Rambam Medical Center in Haifa, where Khatib had been treated, said that the boy's parents decided to donate his organs "to bring hearts closer and bring peace closer."
