i want to go to florida but im afraid to fly over the ocean, does the plane fly over the ocean? if it does will it have to go over the bermuda triangle?

It will depend on the aircraft that you are on. Most of the smaller regional jet aircraft are not able to go more than 50 miles off shore so they stay over land. The normal route out of the NYC area to FL is basically down the coast anyway. There are alot of military training areas off the coast down around South Carolina so most flights will not get off shore. I would say that most of the time you will be over land or within eyesight of it.

As far as the Bermuda triangle, don't worry about that. It doesn't have any effect on the airplane.

Depends on the route of the airlines and what the FAA requires them to fly
if you do fly over the ocean its just right off the coast

Most likely the flight path will be over the ocean at some point.

It depends on where you are going in Florida as well as the route being taken by your flight that day.
