Well, we are a family of 4 and we always book 2 side by side rooms at the same time with Royal Caribbean Cruises. Its easy-peasy. Just go onto their website www.royalcaribbeancruises.com and book online. Yeah, its expensive but totally worth it!!! The recommended ships are the Splendour of the Seas and the Liberty of the Seas. I went to the Mediterrean and Carribean. totallly the bomb. Specially for kids and adults.

Find the cruise, cruise ship and the dates that you want. Go to the cruise line website, go through the booking a cruise procedure. You will be offered the choice and number of cabins, you can even hold the cabin for 24 hours.
You can book on-line on the cruise company website, but you will usually find the cruise cheaper on cruise websites. These websites usually have a toll free number you can call, use that to call, tell them your dates and the cabins you want, you will get the cruise for their website price. If you don't, go somewhere else.

I have booked many cruises on line but never two cabins. I assume that you have tried all of these cruise lines:

http://www.hollandamerica.com/
http://www.princess.com/index.html
http://www.celebritycruises.com/home .
http://www.royalcaribbean.com/gohome.do
http://www.ncl.com/
http://www.carnivalcruiselines.com/
http://disneycruise.disney.go.com/dcl/en_US/index?bhcp=1

What I would suggest that you do is go online and select your cruise date, ship, itinerary, and then call the customer service number on the cruise line web site and explain what you want; two cabins with an adjoining door. They will be able to best help you get what you want.

You are correct. You have to call for this. Most web sites list a number to call for this purpose. You can also use a travel agent or call the cruise line directly.

I haven't found a website that lets you do that. But ever since I have been a travel agent, I have been able to. Let me know if you want me to look into for you.
