I've lived Chicago for the past 3 years, but it was too big and pricey. I'm a fan of the Midwest and post-industrial cities. I'm considering a move to Cleveland to be with a friend, and was wondering if anyone had advice. The friend is living in Tremont and likes it a lot. I found it to be cheap and safe. I'm wondering if there are any other areas where I could find better deals. If you know anything about Chicago, I'm looking for something comparable to the Humboldt Park, Logan Square, or Bridgeport. I don't have kids, so my main saftey concern is just not getting shot or raped. I'm a 21yo female, and I like somewhat sketchy and creative/young neighborhoods: no yuppies, no suburbs. I'm looking to pay under $600 for a two bedroom and just want a place that doesn't have roaches. I've been all over craigslist, but wanted more ideas. Are there are places with cheap listings (nothing like apartments.com) that you recommend, or is it better to just walk around and look?

I already know that it's a bit over 100 miles, but how long does it actually take to drive, considering traffic, etc? I want to hear from people who actually drive it, not people who are just going to divide the distance by a given speed, which I could do myself.

It seems from my research that Washington, D.C. is a very expensive place to live. I'm a recent university graduate and I would like to relocate there, but I'm not sure that I could afford it. Are there affordable suburbs nearby that are reasonably decent places to live?

I'm 19 & I've lived in Gainesville (if anyone knows where that is..Go Gators!) my whole life. I can't decide which place to relocate. I work in the healthcare field. & I love the beach! Jacksonville beaches are nice but they don't compare to Miami's beaches.

“Anti-SLAPP laws are a very powerful tool,” agreed Roger Myers, an attorney who specializes in using the law to defend journalists in libel claims. “There has been a fairly dramatic decline in the number of libel cases being filed here in California.”

Levitt’s case isn’t unique. Last May, the Islamic Society of Boston dropped its suit against the Boston Herald, a local Fox news channel, journalist Steven Emerson, and 14 others. The Society had accused the defendants of libel and of infringing its civil rights by claiming that it had funded terrorist organizations, received money from Saudi Arabia, and bought land for a mosque below market value from the City of Boston.

Or maybe if we just slap them fool muslims who file bogus law suits.
