Weather will be great but the parks are all really busy. If you want to go around this time, why not wait until January? We went a week after new year and it was really quiet and not too hot.

The parks will be pretty busy around Christmas so you need to be up there bright and early. I remember one year my family went up there on Christmas day and we actually got turned away because the park was so full. In the Faq's section on the official Disney World page the high for December is listed as 78 and the low is 58 so I would bring jeans, tshirts and a light jacket just in case. I wouldnt worry about lines to much. You can always use the fast pass option. The best time to get in line for a busy attraction is when they are having parades or fire works shows. Good
luck and have a good time!

Weather should be nice & mild. But if you were planning on visiting any of the amusement parks, Disney, Sea World, Universal Studios or Busch Gardens, good luck because they will be very, very, very busy. Its usually the busiest time to visit Orlando. I remember when I was a kid we went to Orlando for Christmas (at the time my aunt & uncle lived in Orlando), we were on our way to Disney (Magic Kingdom) when we found out it had already hit capacity within 10 minutes of opening, we then decided to head to Seaworld, where they hadn't hit capacity yet, but it was a very busy day. So just be aware that this might happen to you as well if you do decide to visit, it will be lots of people and lots of lines & waiting!

I always go the first 2 weeks of December, best time to go. The crowds are minimal (FastPass is hardly required, occassionally maybe/Universal Studios was practically empty), all holiday decorations are already up, the weather is very comfortable (most times a sweater is recommended for night time). Also, it's during a slower season, so it's cheaper for hotels.
The only downfall about it is that if you're planning on doing a waterpark, (only one is open during this time) it might be a bit chilly and also that the parks close a little early (but with it not being so crowded, you'll have plenty of time to catch rides you probably wouldn't catch during summer or holiday weeks)

Orlando is beautiful at Christmas - about 20 degrees c through the day and can go right down to freezing at night.
You can't beat Disney at Christmas - it is truly magical. Should you decide to go to the Florida Keys for the beaches, I found they were dead quiet. We had a wonderful time on the beach, the water is too cold to swim in really, but the weather's beautiful and its nice to just sit on the beach and watch the waves...

Christmas to New Years is the busiest time of the year. I Have not been there Christmas Week, but last year for Thanksgiving it was cold, there was snow flurries one night. On average the weather is mild, 40's for lows mid 60 for highs.

the weather is ideal, not to hot but still plenty warm, however the parks are exceptionally busy at this time of year. for the last couple of years it has been so busy in the magic kingdom, they have had to shut the park to prevent more people entering. the ride queues are phenomenal and it is virtually impossible to find anywhere to eat or drink.

Wouldn't recommend unless your willing to wait forever in ques. Also when the winter season comes the prices go up for certain things. Try going late August to setember. setember is recommended since all the American kids will be back at school and the lines won't be long. Everything is really cheap as well in setember
