I am thinking about applying for a job in Northwest houston. The job location is 1960 and 290. How is the traffic over there and is it a nice location to live, any nice apartments, and what is the crime rate? Does it flood a lot, any construction. Why are those old men going to Philippines to get a wife?

I believe that a great majority of the other men suffer from significant emotional conditions, such as insecurities that lead them to do what they do get a money grabbing Pinay wife. Prevalent characteristics include a need to be in control ALL the time, a general mistrust of (their own society's) females--who they perceive as domineering and a threat to their manhood. Quite a few of these men suffer from severe shyness and social awkwardness, often the behavioral manifestation of feelings of inferiority. These conditions often make them outcasts in their own societies, among their peers especially women, so they seek solace someplace else. Somehow, a doting, subservient "stepford" (and more importantly, green card INDEBTED & POCKET DRAINERS) Filipina wife seems to be the cure for them.

Hi guys,
I'm going to be in Brisbane this August and I'm wondering what sort of weather to expect. I know it's low to mid teens but what does this mean in terms of chillyness and clothes - is it shorts and t-shirt weather still, or is it jumper? And most importantly, when the sun's out, will I get away with lying on the beach in a bikini?

Hey yesterday in Japan there was an earthquake and then some aftershocks in the afternoon.
Later that night I (In Hokkaido) felt an earthquake later that night, did anyone else living in Japan feel an earthquake last night? I was surprised that I would feel it all the way up here in Hokkaido. I text my friends and they all felt it too.

I am traveling to Europe in less than 2 weeks with the People to People program. I'll be by myself with 3 leaders and other teens. My parents want to purchase me a prepaid card that you can put a certain amount in the card so I can be used in Europe. I have lived outside of Canada for many years teaching English and am not interested in continuing in that field of work. I would like to start taking classes and retrain for another line of work such as urban planning.

Would I be able to find work with only English and minimal French? I don't expect a high powered job in an office but I just need a job to keep body and soul together. I can scrub a toilet!

All the expressways, parkways, highways will be overcapacity, there will be bumper to bumper accidents. So forget about driving.

Airports will be jammed packed. No MAJOR metropilitan area has been evacuated EXCEPT Houston with Rita, but the NYC metro has over 5 times as many people.

Well, you people hve fun making your plans, I'm safe in central Pennsylvania. You people don't come here, there is already too much traffic. Go to Boston or something.
