I think the nicest people I've ever come across were in Wisconsin. What has your experience been?

Hmm that's a hard one. It depends in what part of the state you go to..for example here in California, I find the most rude people in the big cities and the nicer people out in the rural areas. Maybe it's the atmosphere of rush rush, still..when I was in Texas, especially in the outskirts of Houston, they have some nice people, I mean really nice. My cousin even told me a story on how he got lost (and his car broke down) in a pretty predominant "white" town..and how they helped him out with his troubles (he being Hispanic an all) he said they were some of the nicest people he meant..so like I said it depends..btw my mom went to New York...pretty rude she said.

You know there are nice people all over. But coming from metropolitan NY, I was bowled over by the folks in western NY. They came across as among the friendliest I've ever encountered anywhere.

Good question!! When you get a good answer let me know!! I live in Ohio and pretty much I would say 75% never say Thank-you or your welcome. Or they wont even smile. I don't know. I wish I could find a place that all ppl were happy!!! RIGHT!!!
