Travel - 18 June 2007

My fiance and I are looking for honeymoon destinations. We are wanting beachy, private, relaxed, good weather, nice hotel. Just curious where you stayed and what you did if you've been there?

OR

Which destinations would you recommend for honeymooning under those guidelines? Right now we are open to any ideas.

(And if anyone needs to know...we don't want to spend over $500 max on hotel, so nothing over that!!)

New job. Potentially more money and job security and benefits. However, new life and Alabama isn't exactly the cultural and societal mecca that Boston is.

Going to New Zealand end of Jan/early Feb 2008 and want to know the best places to see on the south island - I'll only have a week as the rest of the time I am staying with my friend in Wellington. My boyfriend and I will be in Boston on July 2nd for a Red Sox game. It's a night game so we will have all day in Boston. What should I do (besides the Quincey Market thing, the last time I was in Boston I was 12 and all I remember doing was going to quincey market??) We like good food and enjoy going to new restaurants so any foodies from Boston can you recommend a good restaurant for lunch, what is there to do or what website could I go to to look for stuff to do in Boston. Some friends of mine just returned from a cruise to Alaska. They claimed that it was like a floating senior citizen home. A typhoon hit near the area where they were cruising and all the people with the oxygen tanks and walkers were stumbling around the ship. One overweight woman fell and was rolling down the hallway of the ship. I don't want to be mean but this doesn't sound like an elegant vacation...should I not consider cruising? Did they have an unusual cruising experience?
