i know you can go to scotland using a driving license..but what other places.

The only places to go without a passport are places within Great Britain, anywhere else not possible I'm afraid.


I'm curious to know where and when your driving licence was checked on entering Scotland!

You go get your birth certificate, son. Go on line and look up the vital records of the state in which you were born. They'll have a form for you to fill out and send back in, usually with a processing fee. You'll get your certificate copy in the mail.

You can go to all the EU countries, provided they accept the UK driving license as a proof of ID.

I think if your British the only place I can think of is The Republic of Ireland. there may be more.

from the US, you can only go to Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands without a passport, as they are territories of the US.

without a passport the only place you will get is the isle of wight and no futher
