Cal-Expo has a pretty good show and it is family oriented.

I believe the River Cats have a show after their game if they are in town.

The biggie is the Cal Expo fireworks display. You can spend the day at the California State Fair or the water park, and stay for the fireworks.

The River Cats Baseball is having theirs on July 3, and you can go to the game first, or watch it from a parking spot near by.

Rancho Cordova is having their annual Independence Day Picnic/parada/fireworks.

Citrus Heights has a fireworks display every year at the Sunrise Mall.

The City of Roseville has fireworks/parade/picnic
