Travel - 19 January 2007

I'm a 32-year-old professional, single male. I plan on living in London for six months, then Barcelona for six months. Unfortunately, I've never been to London and need to make a decision on a flat as soon as possible.

Since I'm only in London for six months, I'd prefer to be centrally located. What is the best spot in London? I realize London is very expensive but if price wasn't an issue, where would you live? Also, if price WAS an issue, what location offers the best value? Thanks in advance!

We are a couple in our mid 30's and would like to work in DC. But as we have come to know that it is very expensive to live there, so will you please suggest which is a better choice and what are the cost advantages. We want to be a part of good neighbourhood and can compromise in the begining for a rental 2 bed home. Please suggest us some cost effective good areas around to live in Virginia or Maryland which makes it easier to commute to DC also.

My husband and I currently live in AZ but have been thinking about moving to Nebraska after he gets out of the military. It's about equal distance from our two familes (mine in CO and his in IA)... I like the idea of kind of a small town feel where people are friendly and the neighborhoods are safe, but not too small a town that it is boring. I would like to get a job in the not-for-profit sector or similar field and my husband would like to work in customer service. Are we nuts to just up and move there with no job, no house, etc? What do you think of Nebraska?

If I am Jewish and about to visit KSA, will I be treated according to the following verse from the Koran?

We are a family of 4 living in the UK & we are moving to Australia within the next 4 months on a Skilled working visa. Hubby has recently been offered full time employment, hence the move. Hi, I am moving to Brazil and want to be near Copacabana and Ipanema to be close to the nightlife, the beach, and the girls. I was planing a trip to California for this Feb. I goin 5 days to S. Francisco and 4 to LA, but some people tell me It´s not a good idea waste 4 day in LA.... I was thinking in Santa Barbara (how long is in car?) or going 2 day to las Vegas...
