Say I want to commute from San Francisco to Berkeley or San Francisco to South SF on a day-to-day basis, is that feasible? or would it be better to have a car and just drive around.

I will be getting married in about a year and my fiance would like to move closer to his family. I have family in Minnesota, where we currently live, but all of his family is in Indiana, close to the northern border.

Can anyone suggest a nice place to live in between there? Jobs, homes, schools or any other information about it?

To make it easier- i want to be as close as home to possible, and he wants to be as close to his, but is willing to move anywhere as long as it is within 2-5 hrs of his hometown.

Any suggestions?

Hi, I live and go to school in Los Angeles and I don't have a car here so I usually use my bike to get around, and I don't have very far to go. When I'm in Orange County my mom lets me use the car, but I used to take the bus sometimes when I was younger, and each bus stop in Orange County has a NUMBER. For instance, when I'd go to the trip planner it would say "Go to the NW block of Chapman and Placentia at stop number 418."

In LA, the stops don't have numbers, and the last time I tried to take the bus I got soooo confused and lost because all they tell you is "Go to Hoover and 28th, the NE corner."

How the heck am I supposed to know where the North East corner is??? The bus signs have zero information about which bus is coming, where its going, if its NE, etc. Maybe this seems like a dumb question, but how am I supposed to figure out the directions? I never know if I'm at the correct bus stop, so its really frusterating. Please give me some advice!

With normal, natural down to earth people, where kids are outside playing instead of holed up inside, great job opportunities, low cost of living, weather not a factor except no snow/cold year round, mostly whites, no snobbish community, no college towns, and just plain good sense people. Does such a place even exist anymore?

I am planning a trip in late May/ early June to Peru. What should I expect to pay for airfare from LAX to LIM? Prices seem high right now, but I want to know what is a good deal if I see it. Anyone know what airfare went for last year around that time? Thanks!

Japan has so many different kinds of folktales (fun, scary, strange, romantic, etc), I'm just curious to know what specific story you like the best and why?

Okay Vegas is well known for Restraunts but there are soo many to choose from. I'm taking my girlfriend for her 21st birthday with some friends and family. We're probably looking to spend in the $50-100 per person range (for all four-five courses and wine). I generally want to stay away from Asian and Euro-Asian cuisine ( I'm asian and refuse to pay over twenty dollars for something i can make better at home for five dollars). Any good recommendations of restraunts, including location, price range, how early I need to make reservations, and cuisine type. Any place you recommend against? All answers greatly appreciated.
