I will be getting married in about a year and my fiance would like to move closer to his family. I have family in Minnesota, where we currently live, but all of his family is in Indiana, close to the northern border.
Can anyone suggest a nice place to live in between there? Jobs, homes, schools or any other information about it?
To make it easier- i want to be as close as home to possible, and he wants to be as close to his, but is willing to move anywhere as long as it is within 2-5 hrs of his hometown.
Any suggestions?

I'd say the Chicago or Milwaukee area would be a good compromise....plus, both are fairly large cities so finding jobs wouldn't be a problem.
