Why such a pessimistic outlook? Canada welcomes new immigrants, providing, of course, they don't have a criminal record and do have a skill with which to support themselves. Whether you are an acceptable candidate or not depends upon information we are not privy to - but contact immigration Canada through the embassy nearest to you and get some first hand information.

There are many reasons that people are refused entry and/or a visa and immigration. Criminal record, health problems, lack of resources, and much more that only the government could tell you, though it's all pretty well outlined in the immigration website at: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/ .

More information would be helpful in giving a more thorough answer.

Depends where you are coming from and why.

Coming from the UK? Oops sorry too many white people already. Go away.

Coming from Pakistan/Iran/someone who hates us? Welcome....
