I have a friend who had a 4 month contract with a private company, however look carefully into the contract and the repuatbility of the company, she never taught, just did busy work and wasn't paid what was agreed to.

It's VERY difficult to get a legal 6 month contract, particularly if you're outside the country. If you're IN the country, it MAY be possible, but you'd probably be hired for a year with the understanding that you'll leave in 6 months.

If you've never taught in Korea before, be VERY VERY VERY careful about accepting that kind of contract.
