i drove from miami to atlanta 4 months ago. it took about 9 hours to get to jacksonville and another 5 hours to get to atlanta. so 14 hours total.

there was a lot of construction on the roads once we entered georgia, so that probably prolonged the drive.

DIstance wise its Around 609 miles to the out side of the city .You can make the drive in 9 1/2 hours but for the most part during the day it will take around 10 to 10 1/2 .

At least eleven hours. Its a long drive for a new driver. If you must drive the distance make sure you stop every two hours or so to rest and refresh.
