Should I go to France or Switzerland?

I have a choice of either going on a five week trip of France in which I would spend time with a host family, tour the country, participate in language classes, and go to a famous cooking institute or going to Switzerland for a hiking, biking, homestay, and traveling experience. Both coutries are supposed to be beautiful and have great cultures. However, I do not know which to do. I am intrigued by the activities in France more, however, I am more attracted to the beautiful alpine scenery in Switzerland. Which country should I go to?

southern states?

I live in New Hampshire. I think I want to move to a southern state, like missori, or arkansas or alabama. Somewhere where the cost of living is realy low. I'm going to be an airplane mechanic, so I need to be near an airport. Whats it like living down south? I think I'll fit right in, except for the new england accent... Any good places to live down there, suggestions?

Cost of living in Malaysia?

A friend of mine wishes to work in Malaysia as a web designer. He has been offered a salary of 3500RM (malysian ringgits).
He has about 5 years expereince in this field.

1. Is the salary offered, appropriate with his experience?
2. Can he expect to save some money if he earns 3500RM/month? If yes, how much?
3. What would be his savings, if he travels with his spouse?
