can anybody advise if it is still possible to fly from Manila to Bagabag, to visit the rice terraces. We do not want to endure a 12 hour vehicle trip.

I think you mean is Banaue. from Manila, its only 6 to 7 hours trip by land. There's no other means of transportation. No airport nor ship.

I believe you can fly from Manila to Baguio and from there, it's only a relatively short 5-6 hour land trip to Banaue.

Aerolift has since ceased operations in the 1990's. I think there are better chances in Bayombong than in Bagabag. For those who are not aware, Bagabag is located in Nueva Vizcaya Province east of Benguet Province (Baguio City). As one person suggested here, take a Baguio flight and then a bus to Bayombong or Bagabag.
