Well I don't want to be negative, because I think you should insist on happiness even if you end up in Keller TX. Texas rocks, by the way. Keller, TX, not so much. Keller is suburban Dallas/Ft. Worth TX. Its chain restaurants, middle class and boring. I live in Downtown Dallas, which is great. The great side of all this is Dallas, which is a 30 min drive for you, at night, without traffic, is fun. It's an hour to an hour and a half other times of day. We get every great rock band live. If you like live music, head to Deep Ellum, in Dallas. It's three streets of restaurants, tattoo shops, and great live music. Dallas is also a fashion and culture forward place, unlike Keller. Most people live in the suburbs. The whole giant area is called the Metroplex. To keep yourself tied in to what's up in the Metroplex, pick up The Observer every Thursday. There are no mountains and no ocean. You have to spend money to do anything. Good news is, there is lots of money here in TX. There is no state income tax and land is dirt cheap. It is super high tech and not industrial. So there is an excellent economy and many, many people live very prosperous lives here. Oh, get a gun. It is not a stero type that everyone is carrying. They are; so protect yourself if you are of age. We have The Texas Rangers and their games are the best. It is such a cool stadium. Most important, come with a positive attitude and be friendly. No one wants people coming to their home, complaining and going on about how California is so much better, while you are still content to take one of our jobs and enjoy our great cost of living. So be friendly and keep that in mind. People will expect you to leave if you complain too much. But don't be afraid to ask for a hug when your home sick. Occassional tears are to be expected. I wish you the best of luck and much happiness.
