Prince Edward Island is the smallest province in Canada, and you actually spell it "province" ... not provence.

They are famous for fishing (especially lobster), PEI potatoes, Anne of Green gables, and they are also famous for the red soil, and the Confederation Bridge.

P.E.I. is the smallest province from what I know. I know that they are famous for fishing and for potatoes and the book about the girl with the red hair, I think it's called Anne of Green Gables. I've never been but I would love to one day! It's really far from here in North Carolina!!!

I LOVED visiting PEI!!! I was there before the bridge was built, so everyone took the ferry. I went on both ferries ( to New Brunswick & Nova Scotia). I also saw the Anne of Green Gables house before the big fire. PEI has the absolute best mussels in the world! As a tourist, I enjoyed the relaxing beaches, the lighthouses, and the "singing sands".

P.E.I., A great place. Anne of green gables, potatos, and the bridge that connects it to the mainland (name of the bridge escapes me, sorry). Also the soil is red because of high iron content.
