There will be less people in April so less queues and cheaper. The weather is not always cold at that time of year

It won't be too terribly cold in April. I've only traveled to Paris in March and it's not that bad. Some days it was freezing, other days you didn't need a coat. I think April in Paris would be fantastic.

Summer in Paris can be uncomfortable, esp since many hotels do not have air conditioning.

Yeah, April can be wet at times, but then sometimes in can be absolutely beautiful. As for July, I wouldn't say generally too hot, and plus, there is nothing better than sitting in a pavement cafe in the sun and watching the world go by!

by going in april there will be less tourists and the hotel prizes will be more attractive too than in july which is the big tourist season.

i have been there and it is a lot more fun to go when it is cold like the winter time.
