I'm looking for something relatively cheap. Maybe $50 to $75 per person.

Something besides the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre please ...I've been to Paris a few times before (and love it more with each visit), but I want to do something different this time.

Where is the best place to travel in Europe in mid january for a couple? We don't want a romantic holiday but more like a city break. Somewhere with pretty good clubs & bars as well as a bit of january sales. Maybe if there's a bit of snow too it would be great.

Hello, I am a very lazy person and I can't be bothered using Google this afternoon.
Can anyone tell me whether any American states have ever CHANGED their nick names? And under what circumstances? For instance California is the Sunshine State, texas is the Lone Star state and even backward Louisiana is referred to as the 'Pelican State". But have any of these states ever changed their nicknames from what they were previously?

The choices are Orlando or Kissimmee? Some people suggested that Kissimmee station was better but I am not sure why? Any opinons would be helpful. They are the same price (I am traveling from New England area), The only difference is the time of arrival which is only 1/2 hour difference. Any suggestions?

I have been to England many times, my girlfriend is English, but I have never lived there. I really want to because I feel I can relate to the British very well, and I've heard that in GENERAL (because I know nothing is lways the case) that the people are nicer, and the cops are a lot more leniant. I am thinking aboout London which i like a lot. Can anyone let me know what they think about living in London?

After years on visiting a Turkish friend, i have invited him to come to visit us for a week of two later this year.

There are many restrictions to Turkish people travelling but he is 27yrs old, he has completed his time in the forces and he has no interest in living here so surely he should be allowed a week or two holiday.

Can anyone give me any advice on how we can get him a Visa, who we need to speak to, a letter on invitation to the Consulate has been suggested.
Does anyone know what form this takes, what it's content needs to be, etc?
He will be living with me and my family for the time here although we would travel a little to show him the country.

Thank you in advance.
