had a long weekend away planned with a few friends down in dorset, now that heavy rain's forecast for the entirity i've decided to keep it local and sit the nasty weather out from the comfort of my armchair, local pub and indoor skatepark. what is the best and the cheapest of course ski resort in switzerland and the nearest to zurich airport??i heard it`s grindelwand and gstaad.interlaken is not a ski resort but it`s rather near to grindelwand i think.any suggestions??definitely not zermatt or st.moritz.i saw thru the internet the hotel stay is like SGD700 per night during mid-dec.takai-neh!!!!!!please guys,whatever you know,please tell me ok.

i`m planning to go switzerland in mid dec and then followed by paris after a weeks stay in switzerland.do anyone out there knows what is the transfer cost like from zurich airport to a hotel in interlaken area or grindelwand??also,how do i get from switzerland to paris.i`ve searched thru the website and saw options like eurostar,raileurope.it is better to buy a one way trip that cost about USD270 from switzerland to paris or is it better to buy the euro pass with unlimited use for a couple of days??what do y`all think.advise me please those who are experienced.arigato...........

I have booked ticket from Southampton Central to Newcastle on virgin train. I live in Eastleigh, so I want to borad this train at Winchester otherwise I will have to go back to southampton to board this train as this train does not stop at Eastleigh. Do I need another ticket for travelling from Eastleigh to Winchester? FYI this is part of my original journey.

I am already going to the zoo, the beaches, botanical gardens. the opera house, the rocks, the quay, the aquaruim and the bridge.
I an not into extreme sports, heights, or mountain treks. I have already done some boating and cayaking this week and want to keep dry.
Also I am going to see other parts of Australia but have them fully planned out (except for the week in Cairns which I want to play by ear so to speak). So I want only things in or very near Sydney. I am staying in Kingscross area so anything great nearby will be great.
I am planning to visit a club one night but I would like to know the best ones. I also would like some good places to eat and some good bars. I have been told the Oxford Tavern is a lot of fun - which other places are fun to have a night out in.
Are there any good live music venues (folk, rock, jazz, blues and reggae are all good for my taste) and good places to shop (not expensive labels but nice goods at moderate prices)?

I have a small 15lbs dog that I am going to need to have shipped to me from my mom's house in Houston, TX.
