Am planning to go to Puerto Vallarta (coming from Europe). Could anyone advise on where to stay and what to see?

I am in my late 20s and was thinking of renting a condo for a week with a friend (but not sure where in P.V is best). Would like some night life but also want to see some of the sights...

Okay - resorts are nice Golden Crown Paradise is good for singles, but a condo would be perfect for a real Mexican experience. Be sure to do some snorkeling around Los Arcos, either a tour or charter a boat on your own. Christine disco is great for night life. Check out La Isla Cuale for a fun shopping experience. Horseback riding in the mountains is a great trip too. Just relax with cerveza's and have fun!

Marked a couple sites to check out, lots of places to stay in PV and the surrounding area. The Casa Quixote is really a special place, resently redone.

Hey, couple things to do, visit Pepe tocao stand, been there forever!! Fun place to do mexican food, PiPi's, not great but lots of fun, get there early, they have a line by 6:00pm... A great place to visit and party is the La Bodeguita del Medio, Cuban bar and resturant with great live music. Becareful of the mojito!!!!
