Tagaytay is a good place, clean and scenic. It is more natural than Baguio.
Baguio is very much commercialized now but still, the weather remains good and with this, it's losing its natural beauty as much of the place have been deforested to be replaced by beautiful houses and commercial zones. There are more parks to visit in Baguio but you'd always find these places with crowds here and there. The population of the City is approximately 300,000 compared to the number Baguio was designed for (25,000). I find this a disadvantage when we talk of its beauty.
Maybe both places are good but I guess, there are more activities to be done in Baguio while there are many existing recreational centers for the residents and visitors. That would also depend on the season. During Summer or Christmas time, it would always be good to be in Baguio for its colder weather. In January to Feb, the weather is usually from 9 -12 degrees celsius. After the month of May, it wouldn't be good to visit the place because it rains hard here and the experienced typhoon signal number 3 in lower lands is just a monsoon rain in Baguio. There would be times you won't be seeing the sun shine in many days.
For something new, I would go to Tagaytay for a visit plus the fact that it is not as polluted as Baguio so I'd be expecting a relief in Tagaytay.
For a sick person needing fresh air, I'd say Baguio isn't a safe place anymore for the affected person might get to the verge of dying. It's foggy here and you'd feel like being in heaven, but the smoke emitted by vehicles would take you to hell. You'd rather go to Tagaytay.
Both places have special things to offer. I would prefer both but if there are only two places to choose from for me to live in, I would choose Baguio.. Because I am one of its people.

Baguio is okay if you want to roam around and go to different nice places. In tagaytay, the view is limited. Although travel wise..tagaytay trip is less tiring (like 3hours away fro Manila) Baguio is 6 hours travel from manila but the road you will take is already a scenery. I advised that you should not go to highlands if there is a strong storm..remember the landslides? Go to baguio during dry weathers so that you can also enjoy the trip and the nice humidity. tagaytay. its nearer to manila and a good place for a brief respite from work. it will take too long to go to baguio and i'll be tired by the time i arrive there. besides, our family has been celebrating five new year's and i want new scenery.

I like Baguio is more cooler and nicer than Tagaytay.Baguio is more nature more place to offer. I live there for 1 year and i love it..

I think baguio.....
ive been to tagaytay once but i havent seen the sumatotal of the whole place coz when we arrived there it was laready late. but i think baguio is good because theres a lot of things to do and go.
like strawbery farm. and its also near the banaue rice terraces. nice views....

Tagaygay, it is a lot closer to Manila and less crowded than Baguio

Baguio... even if its commercialized.. its still cheap living and visiting there..

i would pick tagaytay because the view are beautiful and they have great food too! you can also go horseback riding, and go gambling at the casino filipino
