As long as you live under your parents roof it doesn't matter how old you are, you do as they say....also what's done in the dark will come to the light....Ask yourself is it worth disobeing my paretns for?

For flying the unaccomapnied minor rule is 12. So as long as you are over 12 you can fly where you want without being questioned. At 16 you are a legal adult in most other countires, so you will not be questioned upon entry most likely.

In most US states Your parents however sill have the right treat you as a runaway if they want to. So if they filed for a missing or runaway child report you could find yourself in a sticky situatuion.

Some other countries have set up what they call child checkpoints. This does not allpy to a 16 year old traveling alone though. When one parent brings a minor to another country they must have a letter from the other saying it is ok, a to avoid any kind of kidnapping situation. This does not apply to you though.

In the U.S. you cannot travel overseas without the consent of a parent if you are under age 18. Don't know what the laws say about the matter in the U.K. or Canada...

tell your parents that it is a gift from your gran and you might not get the chance to do it again be a good girl and prove to them that you are responsibe but dont suck up. it is a family trip so its not as if you are just taking off with just anyone and let them know that the house will be peaceful without you there no afence.goodluck and happy travels.

NO! your parents can report you as a runaway. If you get caught, the family you are with can be arrested.

If you want to continue to live in their house when you return. I would strongly suggest that they approve and agree. Otherwise you might have to find a new place to live.
