I have to go get some ammunition for deer season coming up in a couple weeks. I hunt with Winchester ammunition and I was wondering if anyone has used and likes the Super X 30-06 150 grain Power-Point? Has this ammo performed well for you? I am using the 168 grain Ballistic Silvertips now. Thanks.

Hi, I just got an old used Remington model 10 pump shotgun and i've gotten into some problems. First off, it won't fire nor will it eject the shell. I don't hear a firing pin or clicking when the trigger is being pulled either. Does anyone have any breakdown schematics or any advice for me. Not looking to take it to a gun smith just yet as that will cost a few $$$.

Thanks in advance!

Which one should I purchase? Price is not a problem, and I don't plan on shooting anybody too soon, (so size of the bullet isn't a huge issue). Is the P22 accurate? Any advice would be nice.

A couple days ago, I bought a Stevens model 311 series h 12 ga. double barrel shotgun. I bought it from my neigbor. We both live in Washington state. The guy my neigbor got it from lived in Portland, Oregon. From what I've heard, it's illegal to trnsport firearms across state lines, but my neigbor did it, not me. So, does anyone have the right to take the shotgun away from me? I also heard that this rule only applies to "handguns", and not shotguns or rifles.

is the four inch model 500 revolver really that much louder and its muzzle blast really all that brighter than the 8 inch model, the 8 inch seems outrageously long and i heard the 4 inch was weaker. If it is any of these how much weaker, louder and brighter is it

I have aquired a semi, compact handgun that was brought back from germany after WWII, I am not sure of cal. but it looks smaller than a 9mm and bigger than a .22. The only markings on this gun is, S# 74377, Geco and has a circle with a P inside with a small crown topping the circle. It is Blue Steel with a brown Grip Any ideas on what cal? or information on this gun and or history? The closest i could find was a geco 9mm that looks a little like it but not compact that was used by german police post WWII.

I'm looking for a good turkey hunting shot gun, and i'm trying to keep the price under $600. I will also use it for occasional turkey shoots. I'd like it to take a 3-2 3/4 shell and interchangable chokes, the barrell leng around 26 in. and preffably camoflouged finish. If you know a good place to shop or a good brand to look for please let me know.

Pros and cons please. I heard about hunting is necesary for population n stuff and that it is imoral and that animal rights groups are double faced and don't care about population growth and don't blah blah blah blah. I don't know too much except my thought on it was that if dog fighting can get you in jail, then killing ducks and dear should be looked into somehow. Please educate me.

Minn. Woman Shoots Albino Deer During Opener

(WCCO) On this season's deer opener, a Minnesota woman shot one of the rarest kinds around; an albino deer. Mary Rakotz of Avon got the 6-point buck on Saturday in Mille Lacs County.

She said it was thrilling to see the rare animal, but 100 times more exciting to be able to actually take it home.

"I had heard that it might be in the area, so I thought that here was my chance of a lifetime. So I had to creep a little bit, probably about 40 yards, to get a good place where I could steady myself a little bit. But then I did that and shot and it went right down," said Rakotz.

Rakotz said she isn't sure if she has room to mount the buck, so she's contacted Cabella's to see if they're interested in buying it.

She also said her family and friends are pretty excited for her, and maybe even a little jealous.

I have several years marksmanship experience, but I have noticed that two different glocks I have purchased have always placed my groups on the left side of the target at 25 yards. I know it's nothing to do with my form, trigger control, breathing or wrist break.. so any one else have this issue with glocks?
