I am looking into getting my first shotgun. I want somehting that I can hunt duck, deer, turkey, and skeet shoot (for fun). The gun has to be pump and camo. What would be the best gun that would fit this description. Price is not a major factor, but something less expensive would be nice. Thanks

Mosberg M-500, or Model 835.
Both are 12 gauge pump shotguns, the M-500 is chambered for 3" shells, and the M-835 is chambered for 3.5" shells.
The 3.5" shells are intended for waterfowlers. With the larger charge of steel pellets, it approaches the 10 gauge in effectiveness with a bit less recoil, and the ability to use 3" and 2 3/4" shells in addition to the 3 1/2" shells.

Try the Mossberg 835 Ulti-Mag camo pump or the Benelli Nova 3 1/2 inch 12 gauge Pump.The Reminton 870 express is also a good choice.

If it's your first gun, you can't go wrong with the hardware/dept store special. I'd stick with a Remington or Mossberg. 12 or 20 gauge, it's your choice. A 12 will offer a bit more versatility, but the 20 can be more comfortable to shoot repeatedly for that afternoon of Skeet shooting. I'm partial to the 16 guage, but those are hard to find anymore.

I would either purchase a Remington 870 special purpose it comes camo with screw in chokes. or a Benelli Nova pump i have one of each and both are great in the field. Both in a 12ga that will handle 3 1/2 inch shells.

Hard to go wrong with a Remington 870 pump. Mine is almost 30 yrs old now.
You can buy different barrels for it, a short one for slugs, longer ones for the birds, and the trap and skeet barrels as well.
