The Bible says "thou shall not kill" not "thou shall not kill only humans", so why do you have to kill poor helpless animals and eat them? They are God's creatures and should be treated with kindness and respect. Is that big, fat, thick juicy steak worth the price of spending all eternity in hell? Put down your guns and pray for forgiveness. Jesus loves you.

Some people say there are weapons that can not be recognized by a ballistic tests. For example, the shotguns used to hunt dear, but if that is the case, then why the government expects us to register or make a ballistic tests of our shotguns anyways???
Does it make sense? or just money--sense???

NJ Governor Corzine has repeatedly turned down the New Jersey Bear Hunt, meanwhile rural counties in NJ suffer as hundreds of bears are simply relocated there and the people there have to go through ridiculous preventative measures (bear-proof garbage cans, etc.). What do you think should happen?

How would you feel using a S&W 686 .357 Magnyum with a 6" barrel on deer? What would be the effective range on deer and what accuracy can I expect? Also, what would be a cheap, yet effective pistol scope to put on this?

I currently carry a S&W 642 .38+p(airweight), and it has quite a powerful kick, making it difficult for a good follow up shot. And being a snubnose, it isnt very accurate. I am thinking about a glock 23, and was wondering if a 23 was better then a 642 control/recoil/accuracy wise.

I am looking for a bolt action rifle that is consistantly accurate at 500 yds and has a good reputation for being durable. I want to be able to shoot at least .270 and 7mm cartridges most likely 30-06 cartridges, and I would like the price to be under $500. I will most likely be using it for deer hunting but now I would use it mainly for long range target practice.

my springer spaniel just is gonna turn 3 years in dec. the reason i never trained him to hunt when he was younger is that my dad had back surgery and i had nobody to help me. i couldnt do it myself because i needed someone to drive and i was only 14. now that my dad can actually walk better, we want to go pheasent hunting which is the reason we got the pup in the first place. my dads friend was gonna help train him because he had 4 blue tick hounds for coon hunting but he passed away so we have had to good of luck in training him. the dog has calmed down alot but im wondering if its too late. if had him in the woods on a leash and he pulls me all over the place and spooked up two hens and i know he's not gunshy because i had him on the leash while i was shooting trap so all im worried about is if its too late to train him basic hunting commands. sorry the question was soo long.

thanks

To make more money?

Some really expensive stuff, like hydro shocks, work great, but they are about $1 per shot!

I've been shooting a bunch of ammo my friend's grandfather gave me, but it keeps causing strange errors like poor feeds and stovepipe jams.

What is the best ammo, for the money, for a generation 1 Glock model 21 in .45 ACP.

Thanks!

I have looked online at both Ron Paul's site and Fred Thompson's site and both are for the 2nd Amendment and protecting our rights. It seems though Ron Paul is a little more on fire for the whole thing. I just want to know whom everyone (if you do not mind sharing) is voting for between these two individuals and who the NRA is promoting.

Please, if you are not for the 2nd Amendment or hunting your response is not needed. As the same if you are not voting for either of the mentioned candidates.

I have a 15 yr old son with down syndrome who LOVES the outdoors, especially hunting. We have taken him squirrel hunting for the past 2-3 yrs and he is a good shot with the 22. He will be deer hunting this coming season (in MI) and his father and I can't agree on a gun for him. He wants to get him a 223 but I've read several articles and stories about how a 223 isn't appropriate for deer hunting. My son is a good shot, but not a great shot. I don't want to take him out in to the woods to injur deer, I'd rather him get one good humane shot kills like I've been teaching him from the get go. Is there a more appropriate gun that won't be too heavy and won't blow his shoulder off when he shoots it? Thanks for all your help!!!
