Humans are pest. They go place to place destroying everything they touch and then when they can't destory anything else in one spot they move on. You should only kill deer if there starving not becae the deer are eating peoples things.we derserve it.

Deer, when unmanaged, are pests and can cause considerable damage to forest land and arable crops alike.

It is necessary to cull when ovepopulated, with the bonus that the venison can be put into the human food chain as a wholesome protein packed meat.

As for making money out of it, look at how many other ways people make money. Although I would never try to stop it, horceracing, in my opinion, is far more cruel than shooting deer. Hundreds of horses are destroyed as a result of injury every year (just look at the Grand National), but this will never be stopped as it makes far more money than deer stalking ever will.

If there's a market, you can't blame someone for taking an opportunity to make a few quid!!

What the heck is "ickle"?

They are a pest or they are not a pest, don't lie to make more money. Overpopulated deer ARE pests...they kill people on roads and highways and keeping their numbers in check is a valuable public service.

Shooting ickle deer? For shame for shame. Poor little innocent helpless defenseless leaf eating doe eyed critter, prancing up to a forest brook to get a drink. Puts her little deery lips to the water when BLAM! her little doe brains are splattered all over the rocks and the water is turning red. Now I ask ya, would that deer give a flying feck on whether the son of a batch that shot her considered her a pest or not?

It would be immoral to kill more than you need to, for whatever purpose, whether it's feeding you and yours or controlling a pest species. Some deer are a pest.

I have no problem offing a few tasty deer who have lived a pleasant outdoor life, but I wouldn't slaughter them unnecessarily just to make a buck.

NO, I think it is ugly, and shouldn't kill deer unless you are going to use it for hide, meant, etc.. Just killing them and getting paid, you are getting paid to murder animals, how do yu sleep at night. I mean theres not even any research (not saying I support that either), no excuse for it, there are other ways and you are contributing to slaughtering and getting paid. I'd say you are the pest, case you are the one who is in what was their natural habbitat, and you are causing the issues for them.

Lots of people are pests, so no need to kill deer to tell them.

Deers are not pests and I wouldn't ever want to harm one. But hell you mentioned money and I'd do anything for money!

Since they are pests, one doesn't need a financial incentive to tell the truth.
