You mean like in Hollywood? Hey, Hollywood heroes can do ANYTHING whether it is possible or not. I suppose it is possible to shoot a shotgun in each hand without injury if it was light loaded ammo or a small Gauge. A 12 Gauge shotgun with regular ammo would be likely to do you some damage by possibly hitting you with the recoiling gun barrel or damaging your finger in the trigger guard. It's not a stunt I'd recommend. Let the Hollywood heroes do it and you just live it vicariously. You'll be much happier afterward.

effective can. I seen demonstrations with the recent Beretta Extrema 2 shotgun the place the shooters have been 2 handing the shotguns. some shotguns I wouldnt propose doing that with, despite the fact that it extremely is completed.

It depends on the load, also the weight, balance, & configuration of the guns- but regardless, if you're shooting 12ga. 3" or 31/2" magnums, you could well injure your wrists and will likely lose control of the guns. I have fired 20ga. slugs with one hand on a rem870 full-stock, 20"bbl, and it wasn't too bad; anything heavier than a skeet load in a 12ga. is not fun to shoot or easy to control with one hand. A good pistol grip would seem to help on a pump gun, but the forward weight of barrel & magazine tube proves cumbersome. Maybe a sawed off side-by-side would be ideal, but those are only legal in the movies.

If you hold the guns right so the arms obsorb the shock it will not hurt you. Hold the gun out wrist bent slightly upwards and the elbows bent slightly. Hold the gun tightly though and keep the arm fairly stiff but do NOT lock the elbows! Keep them bent!

You will have a heck of a time getting off more than one shot. How are you going to eject the spent shell?
